How subject/pronoun and verb agree
In each sentences, a verb must agree with its subject by the number. In a Subject and Verb agreement, there are two types within a sentence judging by the subject. 1) Singular Subject happens when a subject is only one person/ an object with only one verb.
2) Plural Subject happens when the subject is more than one person / more than one object the verb becomes plural.
For the pronoun, pronouns are known as Indefinite Pronouns that the verb becomes singular. Pronouns use the words nobody, anybody, everyone, somebody, and/or anyone.
Examples:
Singular subject: A hamburger tastes so good with french fries.
Plural subject: Many people in the US speak two different languages.
1) I (went , gone) to the after school party.
2) Jason (buy, brought ) home food for dinner.
3) After our mile run, We (ran, run) nearly 10 minutes.
